who does that???

one night, we were just hangin out at home. i get a text from jimmy, "can i come over?" i text back, "sure! come over."  honestly, i was thinking in my head..."uh... that's kinda random..." but anyway, jimmy comes over with the TRANSFORMERS dvd. N and J are obssesed with transformers and have been wanting to watch scenes from that movie, where they actually "transform" for the longest time. uncle jimmy somehow knew this and when he came in with the DVD the boys were going beserk! jimmy reassured me he saw the dvd so many times he knew exactly where the violent and inappropriate scenes were so he would be able to fast fwd and jump around to just the "transforming" scenes. so, we started watching. i thought he would just show them a little part in the beginning or something. but he sat there patiently and let them see the entire movie, the G-rated cut. the boys LOVED it! and then after the movie was done, he went out to his car and brought back 2 transformer toys for them!!! who does that???? the boys were in heaven! i felt guilty because, as parents, we have never even made our boys that happy!! thank you, uncle jimmy!! we love you!!

our dear patti is going to have her baby soon!

a bunch of girls got together and showered our dear friend, patti before her baby girl is born! can't wait to meet her!

HOLA, LOS CABOS!

4 families (parks, ros, liaos, saesims) all equaling to 16 bodies all packed into one flight to cabos for a weekend getaway! the parks have the same time share as the liaos so we bummed off the liaos and stayed in their 2 bedroom junior suite with them!! hehe although it rained one day, we still made the best of it!! the kids definitely had a lot of fun and so did the adults. =) we're lucky we have generous and cool friends like mentioned above, that we can vacation with! hehe thanks guys for the great memories!

J has homework already!

my baby J is growing up too fast! this was his first "homework" assignment. it was an "all about me" leaf. we were supposed to decorate it together and put things on it that would tell a little bit about himself.  i even made him practice a little speech that went along with it! hehe =)

3-D, Double Feature TOY STORY PART I and II

so amazingly, the boys sat/watched through the entire TOY STORY I and even wanted to stay for the part II! i was getting so sleepy during the second movie, and felt better because when i looked around, all the other parents in the theatre were snoring away, too! hahaha luckily, the boys wanted to leave in the middle so we snuck out as quietly as we could. but overall, we had a great time! this second adventure to the theatre was way better than our first!

our wonderful, talented, great cook, patient, does SOOO much behind the scene, does not get enough credit, pretty, full of energy, funny, awesome, awesome, awesome SAHMONEEM (pastor robin park's wife aka Eileen) turned... "20" last month. we took her out to cheesecake factory to celebrate. we wish her the bestest this year! we love you, sahmoneem!

for dean and angie's 8th wedding anniversary we went golfing with them. =)

although it was my first time on the course and i was really scared that i would ruin the whole game for them, but i think we still had fun!

N participated in this cool game. During class, every time any student says a "polite" word (i.e. thank you, please, etc.)  their teacher puts a little "pom-pom" in a jar.  When the jar was full of pom-poms, they each made a crown with their pom-poms and had a party!
