oh gosh. i'm thinking about maybe stopping this typepad account. i'm wasting $5.00 a month on this pathetic blog!! i can't say i have absolutely no time to post because i find time to watch jersey shores!!! but for whatever the reason being, blogging has not been a priority these days...i need to be remotivated somehow! any ideas/ comments/ encouraging words out there?? =)
anyhoo... a quick update on my kiddos...
A is five months!! i really think because she's my last, last baby... time is going by soooo fast! i remember when N was an infant, i felt like every day dragged by. i was always looking at the clock, wishing it was 5 pm, so then D will be home to help me. but now i wake up in the morning and before i know it, it's time to give the kids a bath!! life is so weird like that... i guess it makes us take a breather and helps us to appreciate life in different perspectives... anyway, A is BIG! at her 4 month check up she was still 96th % in height and weight. but she still has not turned over yet at 5 months! she has no desire to!! should i be worried? i really forgot all the rules and deadlines for all the developmental milestones. A is grabbing and reaching for things, she can entertain herself in an exersaucer, she take a pacifier now, she seems to be teething because she drools like a waterfall, she still wakes up once or twice at night, she still has major stranger anxiety, but she smiles and laughs for us at home though. i think she is definitely ready to start solids but i'm going to wait until 6 months because ... i'm lazy. poor child.
J- he cut his hair! he's looking older and he's growing up too fast, too. he is still very loving and full of kisses for his sister and brother. call me a tiger mom, but he started kumon this month, too. hahaha he really wanted to start because of N of course. he really loves doing everything his older brother does. they both joined a little basketball league and their daddy and uncle joey is their coach!! =) J cracks us up with his honest and blunt comments like, "i don't like tooth fairies because i don't want someone to fly into my room while i'm sleeping. that's scary." oh gosh. he's four and a half...
N is turing six in two weeks!! omg, omg, omg, omg!! six years old just sounds old!! N and J love "electronics!" what do i do about this? they love this thing called "club penguin!" he can be on it for hours!! he knows how to look for hero factory you tube videos!! he knows how to use an ipad better than me!! i just want time to slow down and i want our family to just slow down...
as for danny and i... we just had our 8 year anniversary. we kept it simple and went to a korean bbq place. work has been treating danny fairly and i'm planning to go back to work (part time of course) in march. we'll see how that goes. another thing i'm super excited about is that our church got a new children's ministry coordinator. she's AWESOME!!! =) our church's children's program has grown already within a month and i see great potential! =) we also have our parents' 60th birthday trip comin up! we're all flying to kuaui!! can't wait for that!! and then my BFFFF is turning 30 in march!! can't wait for that either!! so as always, we are keeping ourselves busy. can't complain. just need to remind ourselves to slow down and smell the roses from time to time. peace out.
